The CASTAL project has developed the Case Studies Atlas of Local Sustainability Transition, an open digital resource bringing together more than 500 European case studies on local sustainability transitions.
The webinar will present the Atlas as a tool for Open Science, SSH research and evidence-informed decision-making, showing how dispersed knowledge can be made more accessible, structured and reusable for researchers, public authorities and other stakeholders.
Speakers from CESSDA, K&I and DASSI will discuss the project, the development of the Atlas and its role within the broader European Open Science landscape. Three early-career researchers from Greece, Turkey and Italy will also present second-level studies based on CASTAL case studies, providing concrete examples of how the Atlas can support comparative research and generate new knowledge.
The event will conclude with a Q&A and open discussion.
